Flexible Payment Solutions for Strata Corporations
We understand that the work your building needs doesn’t always arrive on the same schedule as your budget. Strata councils plan months in advance, contingency funds have limits, and a special levy is never a quick fix. That’s why Servus Painting and Coatings offers a Deferred Payment Program designed specifically for strata corporations, so necessary maintenance doesn’t get delayed until a small issue becomes a costly repair.
How the Program Works
Our program lets your strata move forward with balcony membranes, traffic coatings, exterior repaints, sealant replacement, and other critical work today, while spreading the cost over time. Only 30% of the total project cost is due during and at completion of the work. The remaining balance is divided into fixed monthly payments over your choice of a 2-year or 3-year term — with no interest on those scheduled payments. There are no personal credit checks required; approval is handled through a standard strata corporation resolution.
All material and labour costs are locked in at contract signing, so your council can budget with confidence and protect against rising prices down the road.
Payment Plan Options
For stratas that need maximum flexibility, the 3-year plan spreads the remaining balance over 36 equal monthly payments at a total project cost of 15% above the cash price. For those who prefer a shorter term, the 2-year plan completes in 24 monthly payments at 10% above the cash price. Both plans follow the same milestone structure: 20% is due when the project reaches the halfway point, 10% is due upon final sign-off, and the rest is automated monthly — no surprises, no lump sums.
Why Strata Councils Choose This Option
Deferring payment isn’t just about cash flow, it’s about fairness and long-term planning. Spreading costs over time means residents who benefit from the work contribute to it progressively, including owners who may sell units later. It also means your reserve fund stays intact for genuine emergencies rather than being drawn down for planned maintenance. Most importantly, it lets your council act now, at today’s prices, rather than waiting years for a budget cycle that may never quite line up.
